Introduction
The Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants (FICA) is a statutory body established under the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants Act.
Since its inception in 1972, FICA has attained recognition as a premier accounting body not only in Fiji but also in the region for its contribution to education, professional development and maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards.
The affairs of the Institute are managed by the FICA Council in accordance with provisions of the FICA Act and Regulations. The Council consists of 9 members.
The Strategic Plan sets out broad strategies that the FICA intends to implement over the next three years. The Plan builds upon the previous Strategic Plan with strategies taking into account responses received from an extensive stakeholder survey that was conducted.
Implementation of these strategies will be carried out by the respective Committees at FIA and will be reviewed on an annual basis.
